PPraxiward AI

A welcoming place to begin

You don’t have to be a tech person.

If you’ve heard about AI but aren’t sure where to start, you’re in the right place. Learn something useful, at your own pace, with David.

Try your first lesson

A little curiosity is all you need

Start with something from your everyday life.

01

Find the right words

Turn a few thoughts into a clear email, a friendly note or a useful checklist.

02

Make things clearer

Ask for a simpler explanation. Then check it against the original information.

03

Build your confidence

Take one small step, ask another question and practice without pressure.

Your first small win · About 5 minutes

Ask AI to help with a simple task.

AI is software that can respond to requests in everyday language. You don’t need special commands. A prompt is simply the request you type or say.

  1. Choose one of the examples here.
  2. Copy the request into an AI chat tool you already use or are allowed to use.
  3. Read the answer. Is it accurate, useful and right for you?
  4. Ask a follow-up: “Make it shorter” or “Explain that more simply.”

You can read and practice these examples without signing up for a Praxiward account.

Choose a practice request

Try asking this

Help me write a short, friendly thank-you note to a neighbor who watered my plants. Use everyday words. Don’t invent any details.

Before you use the answer

Did it add a name or promise you didn’t supply? Remove invented details and change the wording so it sounds like you.

Stay in charge

AI helps. You decide.

AI can make mistakes, even when it sounds certain. Check important facts using a reliable original source.

For practice, leave out passwords, account numbers, private health details and other people’s personal information. Use made-up examples while you learn.

Learn together, from home

A patient teacher. Room for questions.

Remote classes are being developed for people who want clear explanations and time to practice. Dates and enrollment details will be announced here.

Meet your teacher

Hello, I’m David.

I’m David. My background includes college teaching in Criminal Justice and Management, along with work in human-services case management, supervision and program coordination.

I’m building Praxiward AI for people who want useful explanations in everyday language. We’ll take it one step at a time, practice together and leave room for questions.

You bring your experience. We’ll build from there.

Begin with the free practice lesson

A few questions you might have

You’re welcome to start here.

Do I need to know anything about AI first?

No. The introductory material begins with ordinary questions and familiar tasks. If a new word comes up, we’ll explain it.

Is this only for seniors?

No. Praxiward welcomes adults of any age who want a calmer, clearer introduction to AI. Older adults and first-time users are especially welcome.

Do I have to buy an AI subscription?

You don’t need to buy anything to read this page or use its practice guide. Any tool or account needed for a future class will be explained before you enroll.

Can I use real client information in a class?

No. Human-services lessons will use fictional information. Your organization’s policies and approved tools govern what you can use at work.

Are classes available now?

Classes are in development. Confirmed dates, prices and registration details will appear here when enrollment opens. For now, try the free introductory lesson above.
